If you have questions about the state’s Public Records Act or Open Public Meetings Act, or trouble getting access, we would like to hear about it. WashCOG uses this information to monitor agency compliance with transparency obligations, to identify problem areas, and to advocate for improved laws and practices that benefit the public.  In some situations, we can provide information, practical guidance and tips. We cannot provide legal advice or referrals and generally do not have the capacity to intervene in individual access issues.
